In this internship, you will conduct research on Large Language Model (LLM) and Agentic AI to address academic and industrial challenges.

A few of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with mentors and other colleagues to integrate the developed methods into prototype systems for Bosch applications such as AI agents, RAG, engineering assistance, information extraction, etc.
  • Summarize research findings in high-quality NLP conference papers (e.g., ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, AAAI, NeurIPS) and/or patent submissions.  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled and pursing a Ph.D. or Master in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Strong research experience in natural language processing, machine learning, and related fields.
  • Hands-on experience on large language models, including training, fine-tuning, and prompting.
  • Hands-on experience on state-of-the-art NLP / AI libraries and toolkits
  • Good communication and team-working skills
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Publication record in top NLP or machine learning venues (e. g. ACL, EMNLP, AAAI, NAACL, TACL).
  • R&D experiences on LLM based agents, task planning / decomposition, and reasoning.
  • R&D experiences on retrieval-augmented generation.
  • R&D experiences on multi-modal foundation models.
  • R&D experiences on reinforcement learning

Additional Info

The U.S. base salary range for this intern position is $39.00 - $64.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, type of degree, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, type of position, job location, etc. Your Hiring Manager can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.*

We also actively collaborate with leading groups in academia and industry to promote research ideas and publish research findings in internationally renowned conferences and journals such as ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICRA, IROS, RSS, NeurIPS, AAAI and CoRL.
