About This Role

As an Account Executive in Cisco's Networking Team based in Mumbai, India, you will drive networking bookings by collaborating with teams and partners to solve customer challenges via consultative selling in wireless, routing, switching, and IoT domains. The role requires developing opportunity pipelines, crafting tailored solutions, understanding competitive landscapes, closing deals, and accurate forecasting. Ideal candidates bring 10-12+ years of sales experience, deep knowledge of IT/OT/IoT ecosystems, and strong communication skills to advance Cisco's digital transformation mission.

What You'll Do

  • Driving networking bookings within designated territory in India
  • Collaborating with account teams and partners to address customer business challenges through consultative selling
  • Developing a reliable pipeline of opportunities across short, mid, and long-term horizons
  • Crafting solutions to address customer needs
  • Maintaining comprehensive understanding of competitive landscape and strategies
  • Closing deals to stay competitive
  • Leading detailed and accurate forecasting efforts

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10-12+ years of techno-commercial sales experience, with at least 7 years in successful technology field sales
  • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise customers on both IT and OT initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of IIOT, OT, OT Security, and IT, particularly in environments with a mix of ITES and manufacturing accounts
  • Experience collaborating with industrial partners and solid understanding of the industrial partner ecosystem
  • Proven track record in life cycle selling and driving long-term customer value
  • In-depth understanding of the IoT ecosystem, including solution deployment and integration
  • Good experience in wireless, routing, switching, and IoT technologies
  • Strong decision-making skills aligned with customer and business goals
  • Ability to identify and develop innovative solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Thorough understanding of the networking market and competitive landscape
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially for conveying complex concepts and influencing stakeholders
