About This Role

The Client Executive role in Cisco's Enterprise BFSI Sales team involves managing large BFSI accounts in Mumbai, India, by building CXO-level relationships, developing account plans, and driving revenue through value-based selling. The position requires 12+ years of tech sales experience, preferably in BFSI, with strong negotiation and executive engagement skills. Focus is on innovation, business outcomes, and achieving market share targets through cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as Client Executive for one or two large BFSI accounts
  • Manage all revenue streams from these accounts by working closely with cross-functional and extended teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders at all management levels, including CXOs
  • Develop long-term (1-3 year) account and business plans in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Execute a 12-month account/business plan to meet milestones and objectives, identifying and closing key opportunities
  • Develop and communicate sales strategies for major opportunities, and manage the buying cycle
  • Provide business reporting, including monthly forecasts, weekly commitments, pipeline development, and adherence to MEDDPICC
  • Ensure market position and share targets are achieved through consistent messaging and engagement
  • Collaborate with customers to develop innovation strategies that drive cost savings, business value, and competitive advantage
  • Focus on value-based selling and establishing business relevance for technology solutions

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of sales experience in the technology sector, preferably in BFSI
  • Experience selling to large enterprise accounts
  • Strong time management, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Sound business decision-making ability
  • Ability to influence and engage senior customer executives (CXO level) and business decision makers
  • Awareness of Cisco products, services, solutions, and processes is an advantage
