Description

The Bunkers Surveyor will carry out bunker quantity and related surveys. You will mainly work in Crete area but also travel to other locations in Greece:

• Follow Safety standards and perform job efficiently;
• Work within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies;
• Maintain knowledge and adhere to the latest industry, client and SGS internal standards, policies and procedures;
• Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.

Qualifications

• Language Skills: English – Advanced level required, other languages are an advantage;
• Computer Skills: MS Office - Basic to Intermediate user;
• Flexibility: Must be flexible with ability to accept changes in instructions on short notice.

Education And Experience

• Previous experience as a bunker / oil inspector is preferred.
• Experience as 1st, 2nd or 3rd engineer is preferred.
• International Federation of Inspection Agencies (IFIA) Certification is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License is essential;
• Military obligations fulfilled;
