Join us as a Compliance Assessor – Food (Lead Auditor) and gain practical, hands-on experience that will set a strong foundation for your future in the auditing and certification industry. This is a full-time role, ideally suited to candidates located in Western Australia or South Australia.

In this role, you will receive comprehensive training and mentoring to conduct audits against GFSI-accredited standards, as well as a variety of non-accredited schemes, compliance checks, and technical assessments. You will have the opportunity to inspect food manufacturing operations and build expertise across programs such as SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, and more.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct audits, compliance checks and technical reviews
• Support auditor training and respond to technical queries
• Promote SGS services and contribute to business growth

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience in Food Science or a related field (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
• Auditing experience in Food Safety and HACCP (highly desirable)
• Willingness to travel
• Based in WA or SA (preferred), with work-from-home flexibility
