We are seeking an experienced and qualified CSCA Ethical Lead Auditor to join our growing team and be based in either Christchurch or Auckland.

In this role, you will plan and perform supply chain and third-party certification audits across multiple industry sectors.

The successful candidate must have prior experience auditing for a third-party Certification Agency across several programs, including SMETA, BSCI, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 at a minimum.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Plan, conduct, and lead audits across a wide range of industry codes.
  • Lead audit teams, ensuring quality outcomes and strong client relationships.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings effectively to ensure clients understand areas requiring corrective action.
  • Work closely with the Delivery Support Team to ensure client records are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain compliance with SGS accreditation policies and audit program requirements.
  • Assist in auditor training and development, including witness audits.
  • Manage workload efficiently to maximize productivity and revenue.
  • Provide technical guidance and respond to client inquiries.
  • Assist with certification decisions, compliance reviews, and promotional activities.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for SGS, upholding integrity and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Approved by SGS as a Lead Auditor / Compliance Assessor.
  • Approved CSCA APSCA Auditor.
  • Lead Auditor experience auditing for a Certification Body and qualified across a wide range of sector NACE codes and/or SGS Technical Area Qualification (TAQ) Codes.
  • Qualified in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a business environment.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Current, valid driver’s license.
