Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation and analysis of routine samples.
  • Compliance with analytical methods and quality MS.
  • Preparation of standards.
  • Calibration, operation and maintenance of analytical instruments.
  • Analysis and recording of data/results.
  • Collection of field or factory samples.
  • Assist chemists in various tasks including minor repairs of equipment.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the role

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in science and a passion for hands-on lab work. To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • A Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (TAFE) or equivalent qualification
  • Around 1–2 years of practical laboratory or related industry experience
  • Willingness to be flexible with tasks and working hours, including afternoon shifts
