Job Description
As an Application Builder on the Blink Subs + ai development team, you'll directly contribute to the Blink mobile application and backend to grow the subscription business through subscription + ai features. As part of a cross-functional agile team you will: - Develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components - Collaborate with product and UX teams to develop and maintain features - Work to continuously improve code quality, code maintainability and app performance Key job responsibilities Blink is looking for a full stack Engineer to join our Subs + ai team. You will: - Develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components - Collaborate with product and UX teams to develop maintainable features - Work to continuously improve code quality, code maintainability and app performance - Work along-side other app developers and help raise the mobile app development bar - Work with modern Android development tools and principles such as Kotlin, MVVM, Coroutines, MVVM, Hilt, Room, etc. - Work with modern iOS Development tools and principles such as Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, Swiftlint, GRDB, etc. A day in the life As an Application Builder at Blink, you will: - Have an opportunity to support and influence key decisions within the mobile platform and promote best coding practices. - Develop features which are used by millions of customers each day. - Work closely with other team members to ensure new features are implemented in extensible, maintainable ways. - Regularly work with internal dependencies and partner teams to support new initiatives. - Write well tested code using modern architectural principles. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience (experience, 1 years)
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development (experience)
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (degree in computer science or equivalent)
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations (experience)
- Experience with AWS services, REST APIs, CI/CD, automated unit testing, and integration testing (experience)
