Senior Vice President – Depositary Client Management Location: LuxembourgCorporate Title: Senior Vice PresidentOverviewBNY is seeking a Senior Vice President to join its Client Management Team in Luxembourg. This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end client lifecycle across onboarding, governance, implementation, service oversight, and ongoing relationship management. The successful candidate will work closely with internal partners and external clients to help deliver a controlled, high-quality client experience across the depositary and funds servicing environment.Key responsibilitiesLead and coordinate activities related to client acceptance governanceManage and support Depositary Initial Assessments (DIA), including initial look-through and ownership verification assessmentsProvide TD operational approval into governance forums including the Business Acceptance Committee and Deal CouncilCoordinate FTE assessment / requests and EMEA pricing requests as requiredSupport and oversee client onboarding and implementation activitiesCoordinate Service Level Document (SLD) implementation and review relevant templates, including those relating to ManCo / AIFM delegatesManage the collection and review of full legal documentation and fund informationCoordinate bank account access and systems access setup with relevant stakeholdersSupport fund events management, including launches, liquidations, migrations, and mergersMonitor counterparty appointments, including prime brokers and other third partiesPrepare and contribute to board reporting and participate in board meetings where requiredDevelop and maintain strong client relationships through service review reporting, meeting participation, Voice of the Client (VOC) processes, and Annual Touch Point meetingsSupport external due diligence from ManCos / AIFMs, as well as RFPs and beauty paradesOversee billing set-up and monitoringMaintain supporting materials such as the Prospectus LibraryContribute to ongoing governance and business oversight through the Monthly Business Council Required qualificationsSignificant experience in client management, client onboarding, asset servicing, funds, depositary, custody, or related financial services environmentStrong understanding of onboarding governance, documentation, and implementation processesExperience working with governance forums, approvals, and stakeholder coordinationAbility to manage client-facing interactions and support service review processesExperience in reporting, issue management, and cross-functional coordinationStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsStrong knowledge of the Luxembourg funds environment and related client / fund servicing practices Preferred qualificationsSound experience in Luxembourg funds servicing, depositary, or custody oversightExposure to ManCos / AIFMs, board reporting, and due diligence processesExperience supporting RFPs, onboarding programs, and client governance forumsFamiliarity with billing controls, fund documentation, and service implementation frameworks What will help you succeedStrong client focus and relationship-building capabilityEffective communication and stakeholder managementStrong attention to detail and control mindsetAbility to manage multiple workstreams in a deadline-driven environmentSound judgment, ownership, and collaborative leadership
