We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. This role is located in Pune. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: As Oracle SQL / PLSQL expert, Understand existing processes, task schedules and its implication to Sec Lending business Build, design, enhance SQL queries as part of application upgrades Bug Fixes - Fix SQL queries and / or data pipelines via documented SDLC process. Provide tactical and strategic fixes as needed Operate mission-critical systems and deliver day-to-day enhancements across Sec Lending Agency and Principal business Identify opportunities to improve processes, optimize Oracle queries & provide technical oversight Document current processes, job schedules and proactively understand its usage in the context of Securities Lending business Design and develop core components in Java or Python Work closely with business analysts, PO and analyze requirements Create and implement system testing procedures Collaborate and work with other teams in a platform operating model Analyze and support vendor software Stakeholder management Project Prioritization Delivery & Maintenance for the applications within Equities domain Provide second level support Usage of AI tools like Gitlab/Windsurf/ Co-Pilot Develop Unit Test Cases with a view to integration into CI/CD pipeline To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science/ engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required 10+ years of experience in software development required Strong proficiency & commercial development with Oracle, SQL and Git (only familiarity is NOT sufficient) Proficiency with Data Standards & Data Modelling Proficiency with text-based formats like YML & JSON Core Java or Python commercial development experience (only familiarity is NOT sufficient) Familiarity with testing patterns and dev ops Familiarity with cloud / containerization Comfortable in Windows and Linux environments Good to have - Investment banking experience around Securities Lending, Fixed Income Products Experience in the securities or financial services industry with focus on Fixed Income Products – Treasuries, Corporate Bonds, Agencies, Commercial Paper, Mortgages.
