Vice President, Trustee & DepositaryAs a Vice President, Trustee & Depositary, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the effective oversight, governance, and continuous enhancement of depositary operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a robust control environment, managing operational risks, delivering high-quality client service, and supporting the strategic development of the Luxembourg depositary platform. The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to lead teams through an evolving regulatory and operational landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight & ControlProvide oversight of daily Trustee & Depositary activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all operational obligations.Ensure adherence to established control frameworks, procedures, and service standards.Monitor operational performance and drive continuous process improvements.Oversee quality review activities and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.Governance & Regulatory ResponsibilitiesEnsure activities remain aligned with applicable Luxembourg regulatory requirements, depositary obligations, and internal governance standards.Prepare and oversee governance reporting, management information, KPI/KRI metrics, and departmental documentation.Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and inspections.Take ownership of the preparation and maintenance of governance materials, including DOC and BMC packs.Risk Management & EscalationIdentify, assess, and mitigate operational and regulatory risks within the Trustee & Depositary function.Maintain oversight of issue management processes, ensuring effective escalation, investigation, and resolution of complex matters.Own and oversee the CSG escalation framework, including the review and integrity of trackers, query logs, and related monitoring tools.Drive proactive risk identification and promote a strong risk and control culture across the team.Stakeholder ManagementAct as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Build strong partnerships across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Fund Administration, and senior management teams.Lead and coordinate governance forums, including responsibility for the organisation, deliverables, minutes, and action tracking of the Cash Forum.Leadership & Team DevelopmentSupport the development of a strong Vice President layer through increased ownership, accountability, and leadership.Coach, mentor, and develop team members, promoting high performance and continuous learning.Drive knowledge sharing, succession planning, and team scalability to ensure operational resilience and business continuity.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Success MeasuresDelivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality operational outputs.Maintenance of a strong and sustainable control environment.Effective risk identification, escalation, and resolution management.High-quality governance reporting and stakeholder engagement.Positive contribution to team development, stability, and operational scalability.Successful management of governance forums, quality reviews, and escalation frameworks.
