VP, Global Claims Transformation Initiative Lead Locations: London; New York; Philadelphia; Singapore; Sydney, Australia Job DescriptionThe VP, Claims Transformation Initiative Lead will spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-priority strategic initiatives within Chubb's Global Claims Transformation team. Reporting to the Global Claims Transformation Officer, this role is purpose-built for someone who can take a capability from concept to execution across a complex, multicultural environment spanning Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.This leader will own a transformational program end-to-end, driving it from strategy and design through implementation and adoption. They will serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, technology partners, and international claims operations, ensuring solutions are grounded in Chubb’s operating realities and deliver tangible outcomes for employees and customers alike.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end strategy, design, and build-out of a defined transformation initiative within Global ClaimsTranslate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with claims operations and strategic objectivesCoordinate with cross-functional teams (claims, IT, data science, engineering) to deliver automation projects on time and within scope, adapting to the regulatory and operational variation across international marketsDevelop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies for the domain’s initiativesCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and executive communications/status reportsDrive change management and adoption of new tools and workflows, championing an employee-centered approach to technology rollout across ClaimsAnalyze process performance, identify opportunities for further automation, and implement continuous improvementsStay current on industry trends in AI, automation, and claims management, and identify opportunities for innovation 7+ years of experience in process engineering, operations, or project management, preferably in insurance or financial servicesDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects in an agile environmentOutstanding communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versaExperience with claims operations is highly desirableBachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) a plusStrong analytical and critical thinking skills; data-driven decision makerInitiative-taking, adaptable, and able to navigate ambiguityCollaborative, inclusive, and able to drive consensus across diverse teams The pay range for the role is $220,000 to $260,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.

Required Qualifications

  • Outstanding communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa (experience)
  • Experience with claims operations is highly desirable (experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) a plus (degree in engineering)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; data-driven decision maker (experience)
  • Initiative-taking, adaptable, and able to navigate ambiguity (experience)
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and able to drive consensus across diverse teams (experience)
