The Global Services team at National Instruments (an Emerson company) is looking for a talented Implementation Engineering Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced startup business area within a well-established leader in Test Automation systems.You will join a highly experienced, growing team and manage the definition, development, and delivery of custom integrated test systems for some of Emerson/NI’s largest customers.You will also help the team evolve and expand by creating and refining tools and processes and influencing specialization areas. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: Responsible for successful delivery of systems integration projectsAct as primary contact for the customer throughout the project; negotiate scope/schedule changesIdentify and document customer requirements as needed; work with project team to identify solution and estimate solution cost and timelineCollaborate with resource manager to ensure appropriate staffing on projectsInfluence and make decisions about scope, schedule, and resources for projectMonitor and report out to stakeholders on project costs, status, quality; escalate issues when necessaryDrive process and tool improvement efforts; help define and structure specialization areas for the team WHO YOU ARE: You introduce new ways of looking at problems. FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: Bachelor of Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)5 years experience working on systems integration projects for test, measurement, or automation Experience as project manager of large enterprise engineering projectsWilling and able to travel domestically and internationally up to ~25% Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the futureIndividuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
