In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Review project specifications and prepare deviations listClarify doubts on technical specifications through conference calls with Sales office/LBPSizing and selection of control valves using proprietary FisherFirst softwareContact GIS/SPG teams as and when required for critical application solutions/special pricesPrepare Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list and generate reports and drawingsProvide support on project revisions from CustomerSupport Sales office after the issue of PO and prepare transaction for order entryProvide technical support for OE /factory clarifications and assist with change ordersMaintain records of all work done.Key contact for all technical issues related to the LBP supportedCheck quotations based on MIB strategy made by less experienced engineers and document errors and act as a mentor in the teamMonitor RDSL, PDSL & RFT performance for the LBP supportedAnalyse RFQ scope & resource availability and commit to a deadline Handle internal training programs Readiness for Inhouse engineer supportAble to handle all severe service applications Independently handle quote to commit processExperienced to handle TBE meetings with customers independently.Troubleshoot site issues Who You Are: You have a flare for process improvement and thrive highest quality standard. Works collaboratively with project managers and Factory personals to resolve conflicts if it may arise. For This Role, You Will Need:In depth knowledge of control valve products and industry application Knowledge on Fisher products and accessories would be a plus.Minimum 4 years’ experience in control valves engineering Good understanding of product specifications and Incoterms Develop and present innovative solutions for problems if they may arise. Optimizes work processes and improves performance metrics. Awareness of other Emerson products & Good knowledge of Inactive/obsolete/Competitor products Should be an effective team player for on-time project submission. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.Strong interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsReady to take up any new challenges.
