In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Work with the Global Engineering team and technical leads to create and review complete valve design packages, including 3D part and assembly models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and engineering Bills of Material (BOMs).Verify designs using hand calculations and/or FEA/CFD analysisDefine and support validation testingPrepare analysis reports and equipment specificationsClearly communicate design details to project stakeholders such as plant engineers, test engineers, project managers, and supervisorsPrepare and maintain design documentation required for gate reviewsPrepare technical files required for product certifications applicable to the valve industrySupport sales and marketing activities by contributing to technical documentation such as Installation & Operating Manuals (IOMs), brochures, and Technical Data Sheets (TDS)Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager Who You Are: You consistently apply knowledge, experience, and sound judgment to solve complex technical challenges and deliver practical solutions. For This Role, You Will Need: Proven experience of new product designs, development, hands on experience with design verification tools such as GD&T, DFMEA and engineering calculationsKnowledge of international standards, such as ASME, API, EN, ISO (PED), BS valve standardsHands on experience with design/certification standards like EN 12516, ASME B16.34, API 609, ISO15848, API 607 etc. Excellent working experience in CAD software, such as Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidworksKnowledge and experience in design for manufacturability using machining processes is essential, with experience in casting design considered an advantageERP system knowledge Strong communication skills Must be well organized, detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
