The role plays a critical part in translating strategy into actionable plans, managing cost structures, and enabling efficient product and platform growth.________________________________________Role & Responsibilities• Business Partnership & Strategy Executiono Partner with Product, AI and Technology leadership to translate strategic priorities into financial plans and execution roadmapso Support decision-making across product development, platform investments, and resource allocation• Financial Planning & Forecastingo Lead financial planning processes (annual budget, quarterly forecasts, strategic planning)o Ensure alignment between product roadmaps, technology initiatives, and financial commitments• Technology & Engineering Expense Managemento Provide visibility into engineering, platform, and infrastructure cost driverso Support expense management, tracking, and optimization across technology investmentso Drive financial discipline while enabling innovation and delivery• Investment Analysis & Governanceo Support evaluation and prioritization of product and technology investmentso Develop and review business cases to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and return expectations• Product Portfolio Supporto Partner with Product teams to manage financial performance across product portfolioso Provide insights into cost-to-build, cost-to-serve, and investment trade-offs• Performance Insights & Analyticso Define and track key metrics related to spend, efficiency, utilization, and product performanceo Deliver actionable insights to improve financial and operational outcomes• Cross-Functional Executiono Partner across various business units to ensure delivery against planso Support execution tracking and identification of risks and opportunities• Executive Communicationo Prepare clear, concise financial updates and insights for leadershipo Support storytelling that links financial performance to business strategy• Team Leadershipo Lead and develop junior finance resourceso Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative finance team________________________________________All About You• Strong experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or investment analysis• Experience supporting Product, Engineering, or Technology organizations• Solid understanding of technology cost structures and product development cycles• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex data• Effective communicator with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment________________________________________Experience & Education• 7–10+ years of experience in finance, strategy, or related roles• Experience in technology, fintech, or services environments preferred• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plusMastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
