Join our team of outstanding people with expertise across a wide variety of disciplines and position yourself at the forefront of tomorrow’s capabilities.This is your opportunity to join a fast-moving company that works on interesting and unique projects to support Australia’s defence mission and contribute to the critical outcomes of the Australian Defence Force.The RoleYou will work with an expert team to achieve success by setting the vision, building the plan and using your unique leadership skills to foster a strong and safe team culture that delivers truly innovative solutions.This role will work closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders across the country, to develop and maintain effective relationships to deliver quality outcomes.Enabled by the support of the Engineering Manager, you will also be enrolled in our national Systems Engineering network.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain models (functional models, reliability models, sparing models).Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice on ILS artefacts.Performing the preparation and maintenance of project ILS plans, technical data/documentation, technical data lists, maintenance support plans and maintenance procedures.Contribute to the development and maintain Asset Management Policy/Framework and Asset Management Plans.Conducting ILS activities to ensure all technical, maintenance planning, training requirements and general support documentation is followed and remains compliant.Contribute to the development of methodology, processes and tools, including the operations planning, and the management systems for maintenance, engineering, supply support, production and other technical and support elements.Skills, Experience and Qualifications:Demonstrated experience in the content and usage of Defence maritime sustainment artefacts.Knowledge of ISO55000/55001 series standards desirableGood interpersonal skills to work with Defence, CASG, other MV Enterprise contractors.Good analytical skills to assess and interpret material status of complex maritime plant and supporting dataTertiary Qualification in relevant engineering discipline (e.g. electrical, electronic, structural or mechanical backgrounds); holding as a minimum tertiary qualifications and professional development sufficient to attain recognition as CPEng with Engineers Australia in a relevant engineering stream.Experience in effectively representing engineering professional services to both internal and external customers.Previous exposure to Defence projects desirableExposure to Defence Logistics Toolset desirableAbility to work in team environment.Excellent verbal and written skillsSuccessful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance as needed.
