In this role, you will perform structural analyses of metallic aerospace components and support the complete product development lifecycle.You will use a combination of engineering fundamentals, hand calculations, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to solve complex technical problems and support product design, development, validation, and troubleshooting.Title: Lead Engineer(Structural Analysis)What You Will DoPerform static, vibration, thermal, and fatigue analyses of metallic structures using hand calculations and FEA.Support the full product development lifecycle, from design and development through validation and field troubleshooting.Perform detailed engineering hand calculations and FEA analyses to assess structural performance.Support design reviews, technical discussions, and engineering presentations.Investigate field observations, identify root causes, and develop effective technical solutions.Apply aerospace standards and DO-160G requirements while performing structural and environmental analyses.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.Prepare clear and technically sound engineering reports and documentation.What You Will LearnGain hands-on experience working on advanced aerospace products and technology development.Build expertise in structural analysis, FEA, and aerospace engineering standards.Gain exposure to the complete product development lifecycle and real-world engineering problem solving.Work with experienced engineers and collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.Develop your technical and professional skills through company-sponsored training and certifications.Strengthen your ability to communicate technical concepts through design reviews, presentations, and customer interactions.Qualifications You Must HaveBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.3–6 years of relevant experience in static, vibration, thermal, and fatigue analysis of metallic structures using hand calculations and FEA.Hands-on experience with at least one commercial FEA package, preferably ANSYS Workbench, ANSYS Icepak, or ANSYS Sherlock.Strong understanding of Strength of Materials and classical engineering hand-calculation methods.Experience with aerospace standards and a clear understanding of DO-160G analysis requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions.Good technical writing skills with the ability to prepare clear engineering documentation.Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Strong ownership, customer focus, and commitment to delivering quality engineering solutions.Qualifications We PreferMaster’s degree with specialization or exposure to structural/engineering analysis.Previous experience working in the aerospace, defense, automotive, or related engineering industries.Exposure to FEA automation using Python, C/C++, C#, or Visual Studio .NET.Experience working with global customers or cross-functional engineering teams.Practical knowledge of engineering projects, processes, and systems, with the ability to apply and enhance existing methodologies.Experience supporting technical reviews, presentations, and customer-facing discussions.Educational QualificationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, where applicableAvionicsOur Avionics team advances aviation electronics and information management solutions for commercial and military customers across the world.
