Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.This position is 100% on site in McKinney, TXWhat You Will Do:Work with hardware, software, and program engineers to design and develop test software solutions for production testingImplement system software engineering best practices in planning, development, and execution of scope, schedule, and budgetImplement best practice standards regarding the planning, coordination, and execution of design activities with sound engineering process discipline and leadershipEffectively communicate technical information in formal design review settingsProvide hands-on support to product testing within an engineering test environmentShare knowledge and provide mentoring to other engineers on the teamSupport the Section Manager in the execution of the RF Technologies department goalsQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior experienceExperience successfully developing and deploying test software solutions in C#, CVI, C, and/or C++, with experience in using code review tools and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience automating RF test equipment control (e.g. vector network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.)Experience creating test plans and sequences for RF measurements using NI Test SuiteThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
