Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Job Description:Position: Sr. Lead Engineer (P3) HybridOverview: The Engineer will play a key role in supporting Landing Gear Product Design, Sustaining Engineering Changes, Test Fixture and Tooling Design, and Engineering Drawing creation and release activities. The role requires strong technical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to aerospace design and quality standards to support development, production, and in-service programs.Primary Responsibilities:Accountable for the deliverables meeting the expected quality and on-time deliveryMaintain and develop a positive relationship with customers & other functional groupsCollaborating with the Global and Local Stakeholders from different departmentsResponsible for compliance with Global Trade requirementsAdherence to quality management process and proceduresDrive process improvements opportunitiesDrive Skill Development initiativesRequired Skills and Experience:Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and special processes.Excellent drawing interpretation, 3D visualization, and engineering drawing reading skills.Solid knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA), and Design for Cost (DFC) principles.Basic understanding of structural analysis concepts and the ability to interpret stress analysis reports.Knowledge of Landing Gear components and their functionality is preferred.Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 for 3D modeling; familiarity with PLM tools such as Teamcenter is preferred.Exposure to Automation or Digital Technologies is an added advantage.Support continuous improvement initiatives and meet organizational objectives.Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with MRO teams, business units, and cross-functional teams including design, stress, and materials engineering.Ability to work effectively under challenging timelines and workload demands.Consistently deliver results under demanding conditions while supporting team performance.Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-focused solutions.Take an active role in personal development and supporting the growth of team members to meet both career and organizational goals.Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering with 7-10 years of experience.
