CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS The analyst could be handling any of the responsibilities below:-a) Perform transactional processes accurately and timely within the FA SBS team into which the incumbent is assigned (Fixed Assets, Account reconciliations, etc.).§ Review activity in construction in process accounts§ Extract Workbook files, update and send to local teams for population§ Load Workbook files into Fixed assets register as either CIP or capitalized assets§ Capitalize fixed asset items according to company policy§ Retire assets according to company policy§ Amend/update asset.§ Setup intangible assets in the Fixed Assets module to facilitate amortization § Help teach these tasks to new members of the team§ Research more complex issues related to the tasks aboveb) Month End Close. § Provide support for month end close approxiamely since -3 working day till the 2 working day of the month § Liaising with key personnel to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the month end close§ Bring policy exceptions encountered to the attention of managementc) IBAR Process Support.§ Manage assigned IBAR Proof of Delivery (POD) cases — obtaining, reviewing, validating, and documenting Proof of Delivery (POD), Bills of Lading (BOL), and carrier supporting documents for shortage and damage claims from stores.§ Manage assigned IBAR Return claims — investigating return transactions and liaising with stores, distribution centers, carriers, and internal teams to obtain proof of return, POD, BOL, and carrier tracking information, ensuring proper documentation is received and maintained.§ Complete assigned IBAR POD and IBAR Return investigations timely, managing documentation collection, claim investigation, stakeholder follow-up, and status updates to ensure all cases are resolved within agreed service levels.d) Perform other tasks as assigned.§ Assist internal parties as required (e.g. gather support required by internal auditors)§ Pitch in to help with short term special projects and requests § Help coordinate the team to accomplish short term special projects and requests§ Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTSFORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelors Degree. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Required: Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and finance knowledge.Basic level skill in use of Microsoft Excel and Words.Good presentation and interpersonal skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and software.Teamwork and collaboration in a professional environment.Resourceful and with good problem-solving skills.Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. a.Preferred:Good knowledge in computer systems (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Power Point) Attention to details and accuracy in accounting process.
