The Production Operator - Batcher is responsible for the pre-batch of paint blends and the staging of products for blended orders. This role will support the facility Blenders in spray-outs, drawdowns, and filling customer orders.Location: 11470 Albert-Hudon, Montreal, Quebec H1G 3J6 Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Compensation: $17.82 - $23.11 hourly Gather and prepare necessary materials and tools for blendingBlend custom paint orders and make blends of paint as directedMatch colors within facility color guidelinesOperate tinting, mixing, and industrial material handling equipment in an efficient and safe mannerKeep tools, equipment, and work environment clean and organized dailyCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersEnsure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and securityFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations Minimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employmentMust be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in Canadian FrenchMust be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion Preferred Qualifications: Have at least one (1) year of work experience mixing or blending raw materials and making a product in an industrial batch processHave at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)Have at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators to ensure proper operation of machineryHave at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goodsHave at least one (1) year of work experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility Have prior work experience operating tinting or color matching equipment
