The R&D Engineering Co-op position is for our Applicators Group. The co-op will be assigned a mentor and at least two “real world” projects to complete during their assignment. We are looking for innovative thinkers that are proven problem solvers. This position is for a minimum of 8 months starting in January 2027 and ending in August 2027. This individual would be expected to become skilled at project engineering and new product development. They would be responsible forAssisting in developing new applicator products Testing both new products and released products Assisting with sustaining engineering projectsParticipate in bi-weekly and quarterly meetings presenting their work as neededOther duties as assigned Minimum RequirementsMust be at least eighteen (18) years of age or olderMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust be currently enrolled in a college or university at the time of the Co-op programMust be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering technology with junior status or higherMust have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, 2D/3D CAD tools [SolidWorks, AutoCAD] Understanding of GD&T and Prototyping and follow test protocols and record results Must be willing to work up to 40 hours per week for 8 months, with or without reasonable accommodationPreferred Qualifications Currently holding a minimum 3.0 GPA or higherCurrently a rising senior in bachelor degree program Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.
