Job Description
Work Flexibility: OnsiteStryker is seeking a Design Engineer for our Customized Implants division in Ventura, California. Here, we specialize in designing custom temporomandibular joint (TMJ) implants that restore jaw function and transform lives. As a Design Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, working closely with experienced designers and clinical specialists to create patient-specific solutions.What You Will DoDesign patient-specific TMJ implants in accordance with established engineering procedures and surgeon preference listingsEvaluate CT scans and anatomical models for image quality, reference geometry, and suitability for designCreate 3D implant designs using CAD software based on surgeon input and patient-specific anatomyPrepare design review packages, manufacturing drawings, and surgeon approval schematicsPartner with surgeons and field teams to incorporate patient-specific requirements into final designsCoordinate with manufacturing and customer service teams to support design transfer and production readinessServe as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and clinical partners regarding design progress and updatesMaintain accurate design documentation and meet defined turnaround timelines for each caseWhat You Will NeedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering; Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline strongly preferred.Minimum 0 years of experience in engineering, design, or related technical disciplineStrong customer focus and exceptional communication skillsPreferred QualificationsInternship experience in engineering, product design, or medical device manufacturing environmentsBasic understanding of human anatomyInterest in medical device design and patient-specific solutionsCAD software experience, preferably SolidWorks US10: $76,500 - $122,000 USD AnnualView the U.S. work location and transparency guide to find the pay range for your location.
