We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, proactive, and excited by finding smarter, more efficient ways to deliver exceptional service.If you're looking to build your HR career in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment where your ideas can shape how HR operates, this is a role where you can make a real impact from day one.What You Will DoDeliver end-to-end HR administrative support across onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding, ensuring a seamless employee experience.Maintain and audit employee data across HR systems, trackers, and dashboards while identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely transfer of employee data and proactively improve workflows between teams.Administer employee benefits, including issuing, updating, and cancelling access in line with employment changes.Support payroll administration activities such as timesheet tracking, follow-up on approvals, leave processing, and data validation.Generate HR and payroll reports, using data and insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Continuously review HR processes and workflows, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve the employee and manager experience.Manage operational HR programs including service awards, recognition initiatives, and Gallup Strengths assessments.Provide first-line support to employees and managers on HR policies, employment conditions, and lifecycle processes while delivering a customer-focused experience.Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance HR operations, scalability, and service delivery across the business.What You Will NeedRequiredMinimum 1 year of experience in an administrative, HR, payroll, or coordination role.Completion of a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.Experience using HRIS, payroll systems, or data management tools.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in improving processes, solving problems, and driving efficiencies.PreferredExperience supporting payroll or employee lifecycle processes.Exposure to HR reporting, dashboards, data analysis, or process improvement initiatives.Experience identifying and implementing workflow improvements, system enhancements, or automation opportunities.Experience administering employee benefits, recognition programs, or HR projects.Additional InformationLocation: St Leonards, NSWWork arrangement: Hybrid and flexible working availableTravel: No regular travel requiredCareer progression pathways within a global medical technology organisationMultiple financial benefits including health care, financial wellbeing, and insurance benefitsOngoing training and opportunities for career progressionPaid parental leave schemesVolunteer DaysAbout StrykerAt Stryker, we focus on who you are as much as what you bring.
