You will partner closely with Sales, Finance and Business Leaders to structure, negotiate and execute complex commercial arrangements, mitigate risk and support business growth.This role has been created to support commercial transactions. You will be a quick learner, enjoy making great deals happen, who can hit the ground running, with the expectation you will quickly build confidence to lead matters end-to-end. Required Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer (LLB/JD) with admission to practise in Australia (experience)
  • 5+ years PQE with experience in commercial, transactional or finance-related work, ideally gained through a mix of law firm and in house roles (experience, 5 years)
  • Proven expertise negotiating complex commercial agreements across government and/or private sector (experience)
  • Experience in medical devices, life sciences or other regulated environments (experience)
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financials and structure practical deal solutions (experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (experience)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels (experience)
  • Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complexity and guide decision-making (experience)
  • Digital and technology savviness, including curiosity around AI and legal operations tools (experience)
  • Agile, adaptable and comfortable stepping into a role with momentum and ambiguity (experience)
