Work Flexibility: OnsiteLocation: 5900 Optical Ct., San Jose, CAShift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PMSummary:As the Quality Control (QC) Specialist on Stryker’s ProCare team, you will inspect repaired medical devices to ensure they meet Stryker, FDA, and quality standards before being returned to customers. You will partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve issues, support production goals, and identify opportunities for process improvement. What You Will Do:Inspect repaired medical devices, components, and finished products to verify they meet established Stryker, FDA, and quality specifications before release.Perform mechanical and electromechanical inspections using approved procedures, engineering schematics, blueprints, specifications, and other technical documentation.Inspect product packaging, labeling, and accompanying literature to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.Identify and document quality issues or product discrepancies, partnering with Production, Quality, Engineering, Customer Service, and leadership to support resolution.Partner with Team Leads and Supervisors to establish daily priorities, support build-plan attainment, and adjust to changing production and material needs.Train and support team members on inspection techniques, quality procedures, and established standards while providing feedback on new or updated processes.Participate in and lead projects focused on quality, process improvement, operational efficiency, and implementation of new procedures.Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation while following established SOPs, quality systems, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.What You Need:Required: Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.Ability to stand/walk for long periods of timePreferred: High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of relevant experience $28.45 per hour plus bonus eligible and benefits.
