Work Flexibility: Hybrid or OnsiteAs the Regional Sales Manager, Trauma & Extremities, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver sustainable sales growth across Limpopo, Pretoria, and Northwest. This role directly impacts commercial success by shaping regional strategy, developing talent, and strengthening customer partnerships to improve healthcare outcomes.What You Will DoLead and develop a regional sales team of approximately 15–20 employees, setting clear goals and driving accountability for performance outcomesOwn regional revenue performance, managing a portfolio of approximately USD 7–10M and delivering against annual targets and growth plansDevelop and execute strategic sales plans, including forecasting, pipeline management, and territory optimizationBuild and maintain key customer relationships, including healthcare professionals, decision-makers, and industry stakeholdersDrive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, and other divisions to improve customer experience and commercial effectivenessMonitor market trends and competitor activity, translating insights into actionable strategies and growth opportunitiesEnsure compliance with industry regulations and internal processes, maintaining ethical and quality standards within the medical device environmentLead performance management and talent development, including coaching, succession planning, and hiring to build a strong sales cultureWhat You Will NeedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in sales within a commercial environment, including 5 years of experience leading sales teams and delivering business resultsMedical device industry experienceDemonstrated experience managing regional sales revenue of USD 7–10M and proven experience managing teams of 15–20 employeesStrong understanding of financial management, forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L)Fluency in spoken and written EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience in Trauma & Extremities or OrthopedicsKnowledge of healthcare systems, tenders, and regulatory requirementsAdditional InformationLocation: Based in the Midrand OfficeArea of Responsibility: Limpopo, Pretoria, and Northwest (regional responsibility)Travel: Regular travel within the assigned region requiredDriver’s License: Valid driver’s license requiredStryker South Africa is committed to promoting equity, diversity, and an inclusive workplace.
