As a Senior Engineer, Continuous Improvement, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving value streams. You will design lean systems, influence cross-functional teams, and execute improvement initiatives to continuously drive top performance from our production system. This is an onsite position at Stryker PV in Irvine, CA. Additional responsibilities: Lead value stream mapping workshops and kaizen events Oversee future state implementation Monitor & improve lean metrics (lead time, changeover time, inventory levels, etc.) Evaluate / design and implement process and process flow improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, while maintaining or improving product quality Partner with Finance associates to quantify CI cost reductions Personally execute improvements Coach others in Lean concepts Work closely and collaboratively with members of other teams in a fast-paced environment Identify root causes of issues, determine potential solutions, and evaluate them against requirements Follow the company’s standards for process development, quality and safety Support New Product Introduction and/or Legacy product Ramp-Up plans.
