Work Flexibility: HybridAre you an Electrical Engineer looking to join a team of new product innovators who specialize in partnering with the world’s top neuro and spine surgeons to revolutionize patient outcomes?Our global team is looking for a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible by collaborating across the globe with other worldclass engineers.In this role, you will be part of multidisciplinary team where you will be tasked with owning the electrical hardware design for complex handheld powered devices used in cranial and spinal procedures. What You Will DoLead the design, development, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, subsystems, and components for medical devices.Apply advanced electrical engineering principles to create innovative, reliable, and compliant product designs.Translate user, clinical, and business needs into system requirements, specifications, and architectural designs.Drive prototyping, verification, validation, and testing strategies while resolving complex technical challenges.Evaluate emerging technologies and influence their integration into future product development efforts.Make critical design tradeoff decisions and contribute to intellectual property through patents, disclosures, and trade secrets.Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management to deliver successful products.Lead customer-centric design activities, including Voice of Customer initiatives, while leveraging market, competitive, and clinical insights.Serve as a subject matter expert on medical device regulations, industry standards, design controls, and technical documentation.What You Need (Required Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline & 6+ years of work experiencePreferred Qualifications (Strongly Desired)Ability to lead or teach electrical engineers in electrical designAdvanced understanding of the design of complex components and sub-systemsAbility to apply advanced circuit and electrical system test methodsAdvanced understanding of manufacturing and testing methodsAbility to apply standard technologies used in industryAbility to perform complex electrical stackupsAdvanced understanding of statistical methodsAdvanced knowledge of sub-system, system, and environmental interactions $102,600 - $171,000 USD Annual Travel Percentage: 20%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
