Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. (degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline)
• Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing, process development, product development, or a related engineering environment. (experience, 6 years)
• Experience supporting new product introductions and manufacturing process development. (experience)
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), statistical methodologies, validation, and verification techniques. (experience)
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). (experience)
• Experience applying structured problem-solving techniques to manufacturing and design-related technical challenges. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects by defining technical objectives, determining project direction, and driving successful outcomes.
• Lead capital equipment acquisition activities including equipment specification, supplier engagement, installation, and validation.
• Develop, characterise, and optimise manufacturing processes through hands-on testing, analysis, and process experimentation.
• Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions in accordance with established product development procedures.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet product, quality, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
• Review and approve validation documentation and support process verification and qualification activities.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers across multidisciplinary project teams.

Benefits

• general: Ireland: €62,000 - €105,000 EUR Annual
