Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.Job Description:As a Contract Analyst, you will analyze and manage the contract lifecycle for government and private sector opportunities within the Transportation and Energy Business Group (TEBG). In this role, you will coordinate proposal responses, partner with cross-functional teams to develop and submit bids, evaluate contract requirements, and support contract negotiations and customer-facing contract activities for the United States and Canada transportation market.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Analyze bid solicitations and contract opportunities for the Roadway Materials portfolio.Lead the coordination of bid responses across cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, lab, finance, and manufacturing.Plan and lead contract negotiations and document outcomes to reduce risk and improve financial results.Negotiate contract changes and renewals when terms require resolution or clarification.Serve as the primary contact for customer contract matters.Develop strong customer relationships to support follow-up opportunities and business growthParticipate in, and at times lead, cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and improve processes.Ensure complete and accurate contract documentation in designated systems.Prioritize contract requests in coordination with the Regional Product ManagerYour skills and ExpertisePossess a bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of one (1) year of combined experience in contract administration, customer projects, sales and/or customer service is requiredMinimum of one (1) year of experience in project managementFluent in English with strong speaking, writing and comprehension skills.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Strong communication skills including active listening, written communication and oral communicationExperience in contract managementExcellent oral and written communication, including presentation skillsAbility to work in a high volume, rapidly changing environmentDemonstrated proficiency coordinating tasksDemonstrated detailed orientation and working with projectsCollaborative Team player, analytical and proactiveNegotiation skillsLearn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.Safety is a core value at 3M.
