Here, you will make an impact by:· Providing effective control systems solutions to a variety of new and existing automated process equipment· Designing, installing and commissioning new automated equipment for manufacturing to improve efficiency, ergonomics and product quality.· Partner with manufacturing teams daily to troubleshoot controls issues to determine root cause and implement corrective actions· Experience leading control systems projects, including selecting hardware and providing software to run new process equipment· Working collaboratively to successfully meet project milestonesYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:· Associates Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution· Ten (10) years of experience working with machine control system design and commissioning in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:· Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution· Rockwell Automation - ControlLogix/CompactLogix/GuardLogix PLCs, PowerFlex Drives, Kinetix Motion Servos, Panelview· Experience with Allen Bradley controls systems and hardware· Experience with automation and/or robotics· Demonstrated project leadership including strong written and oral communication skillsWork Location· Work location: Onsite, Red Wing· Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international· Relocation: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
