Here, you will make an impact by:Lead the development of new and existing channel partners in the packaging field, focused on the packaging portfolio of solutions while also developing opportunities at core end markets in the Food & Beverage, Healthcare, and e-fulfillment markets.Delivering accretive growth through collaboration with the packaging specialist and sales management teams.Driving mind share across strategic packaging channel partners at all levels of the organization (C-Level, branch management and distributor sales reps)Driving key business strategies through the channel to deliver objectives for the packaging businessCollaborating with teammates to continually developing new opportunities to grow 3M packaging market share in partnership with key distributors.Proactively presenting new solutions to regional and national channel partners to drive strong pipeline managementDeveloping and implementing business plans and programs that increase market coverage and sales across broader regionsSatisfying customer development planning, customer service expertise delivery, and contract / price management among otherCreate and manage cross-sell campaigns that increase product adoption and total channel revenueConduct portfolio analysis to identify complementary solutions and bundle opportunitiesMonitor churn, proactively investigating predictive churn while aggressively working with channel partners to win back lost customersCompany VehicleThis position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this positionYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of sales, marketing, and or key account management experience in a private, public, government or military environmentCurrent, Valid Driver’s licenseAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Eight (8) years of sales, marketing, key account management in a private, public, government or military environmentPrevious experience in packaging industryComputer skills including Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience to work with CRM tools (Salesforce.com preferred)Strong sales/business acumenStrong selling skillsTechnical/Mechanical understandingAbility analyze data to drive salesWork location: Remote, West Coast RegionTravel: May include up to 40% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
