A Day in the Life: An Accuracy Monitor plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and driving timely execution of manufacturing orders. You are responsible for entering data into the operating system, verifying product movement, and performing inventory counts aligned with production schedules. Tasks include keying manufacturing orders, tracking labor assignments, processing transfers, and reconciling finished goods and raw materials. The inventory specialist operates directly within warehouse operations and ensures inventory precision through cycle counts, adjustments, and documentation. Work hours may extend based on production demands and period closings. Primary Job Functions: Verify total case count and specific items, assembled by warehouse assemblers to store invoice Reconciles physical and financial inventories in LCS Report discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor Recap audit results for weekly reporting Compares and reconciles physical inventory cycle counts to those maintained in the inventory system Completes appropriate research to determine cause as to why pallets cannot be slotted by the inventory system Completes necessary system maintenance to ensure accurate inventory accountability Completes warehouse case maintenance, i.e. physically measuring case dimensions, verifying slot heights and performing necessary computer entries Makes entries for store returns and printing of various warehouse related reports Performs all other duties as assigned by Management Skills and Abilities Required To Perform Job: Possess ability to work with minimum supervision, good organizational skills and attention to detail Possess good math skills, figure aptitude and 10-key calculator skills Possess good oral and written communication skills, both with co-workers and over the telephone with outside and company personnel Stamina for working in a warehouse environment Temperatures in the warehouse vary between -5 to 70 degrees. Noise levels in all areas are within acceptable tolerance ranges for those specific work areas. Ear plugs are available upon request. Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions. Potential hazards exist with regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc. Work environment is hectic and fast paced.
