It is about continually improving how we design, deliver, monitor and embed rehabilitation practices to achieve consistent, evidence-based outcomes across our operations.We are seeking an experienced environmental leader for the newly created role of Principal Rehabilitation Improvement. This role will lead a portfolio of improvement initiatives that translate rehabilitation strategy, research, monitoring insights and operational learnings into practical changes embedded across both Mining and Refinery rehabilitation programs.Reporting to the Regional Environment Manager - Rehabilitation, you will provide regional leadership across rehabilitation standards, technical studies, remediation planning, change management and operational integration. You will identify and lead improvement initiatives, strengthen governance and support the consistent delivery of agreed rehabilitation outcomes.Working across Rehabilitation Performance, Mining, Refineries, Closure, Planning, Approvals, Research, GIS and operational teams, you will connect technical evidence with operational practice. A key focus will be ensuring improvement initiatives move beyond standalone studies and are translated into practical standards, procedures, specifications and execution guidance.This is a rare opportunity to influence the future direction of rehabilitation across Alcoa's Australian operations. You will help shape standards, drive innovation, solve complex rehabilitation challenges and ensure new learnings are embedded into operational practice across both Mining and Refinery environments.The role may be based in Perth, or the WA Mining Hub in Pinjarra, with regular collaboration across Alcoa's Australian operations.
