Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join Amazon's world class Database and Analytics focused technical team in Seattle WA, working with some of the best and brightest engineers and technical managers while also developing your skills and furthering your career within one of the most innovative and progressive technology companies anywhere. A successful engineer joining the team will do much more than write code and triage problems. You will work with Amazon's largest and most demanding customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services. You will dive deep into technical issues and work diligently to improve the customer experience. This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work. AWS is seeking an Systems / DevOps Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC). Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments experience (experience, 2 years)
  • 3+ years of systems administration (Linux or Windows) experience (experience, 3 years)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (degree in computer science)
  • Experience in building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments (experience)
  • Experience in systems administration (Linux or Windows) (experience)
  • Experience with automation, testing, or monitoring framework development (experience)
  • Experience working with scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent (experience)

  • 3+ years of systems administration (Linux or Windows) experience (experience, 3 years)
  • 3+ years of scripting language experience (experience, 3 years)
