Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (degree in equivalent)
• Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts (experience)
• 5+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or comparable experience within a law firm or in-house legal department (experience, 5 years)

Preferred Qualifications

• Can use AI for legal research, contract analysis, or document review (experience)
• Self-starter with focus on excellence and entrepreneurship, common sense, great judgment, and ability to work independently in a sometimes ambiguous environment (experience)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (experience)

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including services agreements and license and distribution deals
• Oversee a contracts database and business facing guidance
• Develop and maintain contract templates, fallbacks guides, training materials, and operating procedures
• Provide strategic contracting advice to business team members across multiple businesses
• Develop and drive continuous process improvement and simplification using contract tooling and AI
• Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for cross-functional teams
