The Finance Operations Business Partnership (BP) team is seeking a Finance Manager who will be a key member of the Middle East Retail BP team. This individual will be responsible for driving Retail procure-to-pay and order-to-cash performance while ensuring compliance with evolving e-invoicing and tax regulations across operating jurisdictions.** In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining operational and business metrics and targets, driving global operational reviews, as well as owning improvements to achieve targets. As a business partner, you will work daily alongside Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Service Centers, Vendor Managers, Retail Finance, Tax, Legal, Vendors, and other operational groups at all levels in a global environment. Complex problem solving and financial analysis skills are required to manage multiple high visibility priorities in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations. Responsibilities: - Define key performance indicators — develop operational, business, and compliance readiness metrics (e.g., e-invoicing vendor adoption rates, validation pass rates, statutory deadline adherence) and service level agreements for programs and processes; track delivery against global objectives. - Consolidate inputs and challenge assumptions on performance drivers and projections from stakeholders — including regulatory compliance impact assessments across operating jurisdictions. - Develop and maintain effective partnership between Finance Operations, Service Centers, Tax, Legal, and Retail. - Identify and drive opportunities for improved cash flow, margin, or productivity improvements related to vendor payments and receivables — ensuring alignment with e-invoicing and tax compliance requirements. - Solve critical vendor, process, regulatory, and system escalations effectively to ensure root cause analysis and timely resolution within compliance deadlines. - Identify and quantify financial, operational, and regulatory compliance risks and opportunities — including exposure to statutory penalties, e-invoicing mandate readiness gaps, and tax authority reporting obligations. - Monitor evolving tax and e-invoicing regulations across operating jurisdictions; assess process and systems impact, drive timely implementation to maintain compliance, and partner with Tax, Technology, and FinOps teams to meet statutory deadlines.
