The Generation Service Technician has safety, customer satisfaction, and business responsibilities within data center operations. The person in this role is responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, diagnosing and providing quality repairs of electrical generator systems and related engine mechanical failures. As both a technical expert and primary customer support liaison, the Generator Service Technician is responsible for maintaining consistent communication with clients to ensure an exceptional customer experience while maximizing data center availability. All necessary tools and equipment will be provided by AWS. Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of data center engineering experience (experience, 4 years)
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (degree in electrical engineering)
  • Knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling (experience)
  • Experience in data center engineering (experience)
  • Can perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired (experience)
  • USA, OH, New Albany - 37.64 - 65.91 USD hourly (experience)
