full-timePosted: Aug 23, 2026Updated: Aug 27, 2026Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Job Description

Are you energized by designing supply chain solutions that challenge traditional distribution models? In this role, you will own category strategy for Amazon's European cross-dock distribution program and grocery logistics packaging; managing a supplier portfolio that directly enables hundreds of fulfillment centers to receive supplies faster, at lower cost. You'll shape how Amazon procures, distributes, and optimizes non-inventory supplies across Europe, working at the intersection of warehousing, transportation, and manufacturer partnerships. This is a builder role: you'll run competitive tenders across multiple countries, manage 3PL relationships, and expand operations into new markets, all while turning procurement from a transactional function into a strategic supply chain enabler. If you enjoy navigating complexity across markets, building programs from scratch, and seeing your work translate into measurable operational impact across a continent; this is your role. Key job responsibilities - Own the end-to-end category strategy for European cross-dock distribution operations, including supplier selection, contract management, performance governance, and expansion into new markets - Lead competitive sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs, tenders) for warehouse services, logistics providers, and grocery packaging suppliers across multiple EU countries - Manage supplier relationships and performance across the European distribution network, driving accountability through KPIs, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives - Develop and execute the procurement strategy for EU grocery logistics packaging, building a diversified supplier base and implementing cost-effective commercial frameworks - Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, transportation, and legal teams to ensure seamless procurement execution and compliance across EU jurisdictions A day in the life No two days look the same. One day you're negotiating warehouse contracts with a logistics provider in Spain; the next, you're reviewing packaging samples with a French supplier or building a business case for entering a new market. You'll regularly connect with operations leaders across Europe to understand site-level needs, partner with finance on cost models, and join leadership reviews to share your category's performance story. Expect a mix of strategic planning, hands-on supplier management, and occasional travel to facilities and suppliers across Europe. You'll build things that don't exist yet. About the team We manage how Amazon's non-inventory supplies — packaging, pallets, grocery logistics materials — move from manufacturers to fulfillment centers across the globe. Our team sits within Global Procurement Organization and operates as a supply chain integrator: we don't just buy things, we design the end-to-end flow from source to site. You'll join a team of six category managers, each owning a distinct supply chain pillar, collaborating across operations, transportation, and finance. We value strategic thinking, builder mindset, and pragmatic execution. We're growing fast and shaping how procurement creates value at continental scale.
