Amazon Leo is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician who will lead day-to-day maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of environmental test equipment and production systems. This hands-on role focuses on predictive and preventive maintenance execution, safety practices, and building team capability through mentorship and knowledge sharing. You'll work directly with engineers and technicians who design and build unique machines to solve critical problems, ensuring maximum asset availability without interrupting production operations. This position is Monday- Friday, 7AM-3:30PM. Key job responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair • Maintain and troubleshoot environmental test equipment including TVAC chambers, HASS systems, thermal chambers • Maintain and troubleshoot production automation equipment • Oversee vendors making planned and emergency repairs while maintaining direct involvement in critical repairs • Troubleshoot and repair control devices such as PLCs and HMIs • Perform overhaul and repair of mechanical systems including pumps, chillers, gearboxes, and cryogenic systems Electrical & Mechanical Systems • Replace and install electrical components such as switches, relays, contactors, transformers, rectifiers, circuit breakers, fuses, and sensors for temperature/pressure/position • Replace and install mechanical components such as bearings, bushings, motors, shafts, collars, couplings, pulleys, belts, gears, chains, rollers, pumps, valves, hoses, and o-rings • Read, troubleshoot, and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics • Conduct research using all available in-house resources for complex troubleshooting Work Management & Documentation • Create and close out work orders with comprehensive data including labor hours, equipment maintenance history, and parts used • Develop job plans for emergency repair of critical assets • Author baseline procedures and assist in training technicians in procedure execution • Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices and asset reliability Physical Requirements • Ability to move up to 49 lbs unassisted • Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours • Perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head • Operate forklifts and company vehicles as needed
