Key job responsibilities - Build features across our product portfolio, including case management system, external user-facing systems, and compliance systems - Own feature delivery across the full lifecycle, working backwards from customers through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations, and partnering with engineers, product and legal teams to shape requirements - Design and build generative AI capabilities, MCP tooling, and agentic automation that power legal workflows and enable legal customers to build their own automations - Develop AI-driven service integrations and automation across strategic initiatives, delivering the backend and agentic engineering behind our Legal Tech AI roadmap - Contribute to modernizing existing architecture by implementing scalable services using AWS technologies - Create integrations between legal tools, document management systems, and internal platforms to automate workflows and reduce manual work - Write secure, maintainable, well-tested code with clear documentation and design choices others can extend, handling critical legal data under strict security and compliance requirements - Embrace an AI-first approach to daily engineering: use AI-powered development tools by default to accelerate delivery, raise code quality, and automate routine work - Drive operational excellence: own on-call support and ensure the root cause of issues is permanently fixed, not worked around - Drive technical discussions and code reviews, mentor junior engineers across the team, and raise the team's engineering bar
