Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise financial services accounts within the local geography. The ideal candidate will have both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with producers, engineers, and architects. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute an industry plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. Key job responsibilities • Drive revenue growth and market share across Canada’s Financial Services sector • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and performance targets • Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales plan aligned to FSI customer priorities • Accelerate adoption of AWS services while addressing regulatory, compliance, and security requirements • Maintain a healthy, forward-looking pipeline and execute with operational rigor • Partner with AWS solution teams, legal, and compliance stakeholders to support customer journeys • Lead contract negotiations for complex, multi-stakeholder deals • Build long-term strategic relationships with senior leaders at Canada’s top financial institutions • Champion customer satisfaction and act as the voice of the customer within AWS • Support AWS operating cadences and provide executive-level business updates • Travel moderately to support key customer engagements and internal AWS events
