full-timePosted: Jul 21, 2026Updated: Aug 27, 2026Bellevue, Washington, United States

Job Description

Every day, millions of packages move through Amazon's transportation network — and this team is responsible for making sure they take the smartest, fastest, most cost-effective path to the customer's door. Network Design Planning & Engineering sits at the center of Amazon's North American transportation strategy. We plan how packages flow from fulfillment centers to final delivery destinations, balancing speed, cost, on-time accuracy, and environmental impact. Our work directly shapes the delivery experience for hundreds of millions of customers. We're looking for a Supply Chain Manager II who is excited about turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. In this role, you'll build the network design plans along with the key metrics to drive improvements and detect opportunities that help our team and partners see what's happening across the network — aiding better decision making. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, scientists, and product managers who will support your growth while giving you real ownership of meaningful work from day one. Key job responsibilities - Partner with internal stakeholders across product, science, and engineering to understand what questions the business needs answered — then design and deliver the data solutions to answer them. - Build detailed network design recommendations along with maintaining interactive AI dashboards/visualizations that track how the transportation network is performing. - Conduct deep-dive analyses into operational performance, uncover root causes of issues, and recommend improvements backed by data. - Proactively look for ways to make existing reports and dashboards faster, more accurate, and easier to use. - Analyze historical trends and key lessons learned from previous experiences to surface insights that support planning and forecasting decisions. About the team The Network Design, Planning and Engineering (NDPE) team supports the connectivity and flow of Amazon's transportation network through data-driven insights. We are a collaborative group of supply chain managers, data scientists and data engineers who value curiosity, knowledge sharing, and building reliable, scalable solutions. Our work directly impacts how millions of packages move through Amazon's outbound network every day. We foster a learning-focused environment where team members grow through mentorship, technical reviews, and exposure to complex, large-scale data challenges.
