The role requires to engage with Business functions and help in progressing with the data maturity journey at Amgen.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to defining and executing Enterprise Data strategy for AmgenEngage with business functions to identify top data priorities, perform current state analysis, gap analysis and target state definitionHelp in creation and execution of data strategy execution roadmap for AmgenDrive Data maturity assessment (FAIR) across AmgenDefine and align the data capabilities roadmap required to deliver the data strategy goalsIdentify business requirements and align the data strategy priorities accordinglyIdentify advanced data capabilities required to deliver the data strategyDefine the value proposition and value realization framework for priority data initiativesWork closely with Data architecture and data platforms & Engineering teams to create reference architecture for advanced data capabilitiesBuild strong partnership with Business and map value from data initiatives to business outcomesWork with Business to operationalize the data capabilities roadmap through pilots and MVPsHelp operationalize framework for unstructured data management at Enterprise levelIdentify opportunities and drive implementation of AI-driven interventions in data management lifecycleBuild partnership with AI strategy and contribute towards defining an Integrated Data and Analytics strategyBring in thought leadership to advance the Data strategy capability evolutionBuild and promote culture of innovation in data managementCoach and mentor Data management professionalsMandatory skills and qualifications:16-20 years of experience post qualification.14-17 years of relevant experience in data managementStrong expertise in defining and executing Data management strategyGood exposure in defining Enterprise data strategyExpertise in at least two core Data management capabilities such as Data Governance, Data quality and Master data management etc.Exposure to unstructured data managementExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsGood experience in value articulation of data management initiativesExposure to complex stakeholder ecosystemPreferred skills and qualification:Experience in Pharma/Healthcare industriesPostgraduation/MBA especially in strategic managementEQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENTAmgen is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider you without regard to your race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided with reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
