This role will be responsible for financial planning processes such as the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and long-range planning. In addition to planning processes, responsibilities will include supporting the quarter-end close processes, variance analysis, generating business insights/improvement opportunities and updating standard costs. Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial planning, tracking and reporting operational activities within the financial planning systemPartner with peers at manufacturing sites to create / update data analysis models and dashboards to support business performance monitoring and variance analysisQuarter-end close support, which includes generating insightful variance explanationsProvide support in developing and delivering executive presentationsProvide thought leadership while developing strong partnerships with other Finance staff members / cross-functional teams to drive process consistencies and efficienciesAssist with coaching and mentoring junior staffPartner with Senior Manager team lead to manage team priorities and goalsSupport ad hoc projects and analysis as needed Basic Qualifications Master’s degree AND 2 years of Finance experienceORBachelor’s degree AND 4 years of Finance experienceORAssociate’s degree AND 10 years of Finance experienceORHigh school diploma / GED AND 12 years of Finance experience Preferred Qualifications4+ years of progressive finance / accounting experience / financial planning experienceAbility to educate, communicate and provide financial insights to non-finance individualsAdaptable and able to work in a complex matrix environmentKnowledge of key reporting systems (such as SAP/S4, MS Office, Tableau, ANAPLAN and Hyperion)AI tools, CHATGPT, CodeEXStrong quantitative and analytical skills including familiarity with finance and accounting termsProven ability to work effectively in in ambiguous situations and team environmentAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlinesStrong written, verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skills; ability to interact and influence personnel across functions and levels, including ManagementAbility to think strategically; Detail oriented; Strong business analytical skillsMBA and/or CPAExperience supporting a biotech operations/manufacturing organization (highly preferred).
