Join us and transform the lives of patients while transforming your career.Senior Associate Software EngineerThe Sr Associate Software Engineer will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet business needs and ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions and automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team and learn from experienced engineers.You will be part of a team specifically focusing on enterprise resource management capabilities. Amgen is using fully integrated and best-in-class technologies, having various enterprise platforms such as AWS, Databricks, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Veeva, Planisware, or Anaplan; enterprise collaboration platforms such as O365, SharePoint Online and MS Teams, as well as vertical-specific platforms in R&D, Operations, Process Development and Commercial/Marketing areas.Roles & Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement of software applications and modulesTake ownership of Development/configuration of user stories in collaboration with experienced engineersCreate and maintain documentation on software design and configurationDevelop simple prototypes and proof-of-conceptsContribute to both front-end and back-end development tasks using various Amgen preferred platforms/tools, with mentorshipWork with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating when neededAnalyze business and technical requirements and begin translating them into simple development tasksExecute unit and integration tests, and contribute to maintaining software qualityIdentify and fix minor bugs and defects during development or testing phasesContribute to the maintenance and support of applications by monitoring performance and reporting issuesUse CI/CD pipelines as part of DevOps practices and assist in the release processWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
