Every day, more than 1,000 colleagues from over 40 nationalities contribute to supply chain operations, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new therapies.LIVEWhat you will doAs a Senior Operator & Delegate Line Lead at Amgen Breda, you support the operational leadership of a production line within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. In the absence of the Line Lead, you act as the first operational escalation point on the shop floor, ensuring stable production execution, effective team coordination, and compliance with quality and safety standards.In this role, you will:Execute production activities according to SOPs and GMP standardsAct as first point of escalation during operational disturbancesSupport troubleshooting activities and escalation managementParticipate in triage and cross-functional problem-solving activitiesSupport daily operational leadership on the production line and coordinate operational activities during delegated leadership periodsSupport achievement of production targets, quality objectives, and line performanceSupport workload coordination, task prioritization, and team communicationSupport onboarding, coaching, and guidance of operators on the lineContribute to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiativesEnsure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all production activitiesWINWhat we expect from youYou combine operational expertise with leadership capability and a strong quality mindset.MBO+ or equivalent technical educationMinimum 7 years of experience in highly regulated automated production environmentsProven operational leadership experience, coordinating or guiding operators on the shopfloorAnalytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to maintain overview during operational disturbancesFamiliarity with SAP/MES systems and Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma)Strong ownership, accountability, and structured way of workingWillingness to work in shiftsTHRIVEWhat you can expect from usAt Amgen, we support your personal and professional development—just as we focus on improving the lives of others.
