Every day, more than 1,000 colleagues from over 40 nationalities contribute to supply chain operations, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new therapies.LIVEWhat you will doAs a Senior Technical Operator for automated lines, you play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of highly automated assembly, Labeling & Packing production systems within a GMP-regulated environment. You act as the technical expert on the line, supporting both operational excellence and team capability.In this role, you will:Operate, monitor, and optimize automated production equipmentPerform set-ups and change-oversLead advanced troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis (e.g., RCA, 5WHY)Identify and escalate deviations where required in collaboration with quality and maintenance and support triage activitiesAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and first point of contact for technical escalationsAnalyze and interpret process data using SAP/MES systemsDrive and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)Support, coach and train team members, strengthening overall line capabilityEnsure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all production activitiesWINWhat we expect from youYou combine strong technical expertise with leadership capability and a continuous improvement mindset.MBO+ or equivalent technical educationMinimum 7 years of experience in highly regulated automated production environmentsProven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and/or trainerAdvanced troubleshooting and analytical capabilitiesFamiliarity with SAP/MES systems and CI methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma)High level of ownership, accountability, and structured way of workingWillingness to work in shiftsTHRIVEWhat you can expect from usAt Amgen, we support your personal and professional development—just as we focus on improving the lives of others.
